2024 Booklet

Now Play This celebrated its first decade of exploring games and playfulness by highlighting the creative power and ubiquity of play. This year’s theme “Liminality: Playing between worlds” was an invitation to think of play as a place both for introspection and connection. It was a call to reconsider our understanding of play and games and their relationship to our everyday lives and to other artforms.

For the 2024 exhibition we offered a booklet with a selection of texts from artists, looking deeper into their game-making processes. The booklet also contained a scavenger hunt style game, giving a different way to experience the exhibition.
